I spent Oct 25 and 26th working the Art4Kids table at the Best of the NW fine Art and craft show. It was a busy weekend. Lots of little kiddo's sharing their talents & creativity! The art supplies were sponsored by Dick Blick Art Materials in Seattle.
October 24-26 and November 14-16 in Seattle's Magnuson Park, Hangar 30 110 different artists at each show

 










 Muddy Buddies: A Parent/Child Clay Exploration

Fridays, September 19, October 17, November 21 or December 19, 9:30–11:30am

White_Muddy Buddies collage 600An exploration of clay for budding artists!  Students will discover the endless possibilities of working together with malleable clay to make pottery, whimsical sculptures, ceramic tiles and more.  Come get creative with Mom, Dad or maybe even Grandpa in this lively hands-on class.  Also a great option for homeschoolers who are looking to explore ceramics.
$5 materials fee payable to Instructor at time of class (cash or local checks only) covers clay, glazing & firing.  Pieces will be ready for pick-up within two weeks of the class.
*Due to the nature of ceramics, there is no guarantee that your work will survive the firing process. Work left more than four months will be cleared out.
Class Fee: $30/Member, $35/non-Member per Adult/Child pair (Plus materials fee as listed above)
Additional Child Class fee: $15 (Maximum of two children per adult)

Issaquah, WA –The Downtown Issaquah Association’s 13th annual season of the Issaquah ArtWalk continues on July 11 from 6-9pm.  The popular monthly art walk is held First Friday of the month June through September.  Visitors are invited to meet local business owners, enjoy live music, watch artists in action, shop and dine in downtown Issaquah.  ArtWalk draws hundreds of visitors into downtown Issaquah each month by placing dozens of artists into local businesses and on the streets.  The monthly ArtWalk enhances the already vibrant arts scene in Downtown Issaquah including artEAST Art Center and ArtByFire glassblowing studio.  

ArtWalks feature up 50 talented artists with art ranging from jewelry, photography, paintings, glass and metal work, sculpture, books and more!   In addition to art, you can enjoy musical performances and open mic at Music and Arts.  Art Walkers can eat, drink and be merry at several downtown restaurants including Amante Pizza, Capri Cellars, Fin’s Bistro, Flying Pie, Jak’s, Montalcino, Rogue Brewery, Sunset Brewery, or Vino Bella Wine Bar.

Bodacious Ladyhood  – Historic Train Depot
This Seattle-based trio of women who have been singing together for over a decade.  Three parts harmony, one part comedy and a whole lot of fun!  
Acoustic Fantasy   – Historic Shell Station
Acoustic Fantasy is an instrumental group that play acoustic music mostly based around the flamenco style incorporating jazz elements and catchy grooves.
Little Lion – Coho Computer
Little Lion is an indie piano pop duo from Issaquah, WA. With Madeline Wells on vocals, keys, and guitar and Parke O’Leary on drums, their sound ranges from bouncy piano ballads to pensive acoustic guitar songs.
